Core responsibilities
Perform root-cause analysis (RCA) of equipment failures and drive corrective actions.
Specify, install and commission new equipment and upgrades.
Maintain spare-parts inventory and bill-of-materials for critical assets.
Create, update and close work orders in the CMMS; keep accurate maintenance records.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality procedures.
Support reliability projects (RCA, FMEA, RCM, continuous improvement, reliability-centered upgrades).
Provide technical support to operations and train operators on basic maintenance and safe operation.
Liaise with vendors/contractors for specialized repairs and warranty work.
Required qualifications and skills
Diploma/Associate in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or trade certificate, Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic ability.
Mechanical aptitude and electrical understanding.
Preventive and predictive maintenance knowledge.
Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings and P&IDs.
Data-driven mindset — interpret vibration/thermography/oil analysis.
Good communication and teamwork.
