Accounts Assistant

Role summary

Provide day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping support to the finance team, handling accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, transactional posting and basic month-end tasks to ensure accurate financial records.

Support VAT/GST sales and purchase records and prepare returns data.
Maintain filing and electronic records for audit readiness.
Liaise with suppliers, customers and internal teams to resolve queries.
Support payroll admin or expense claim processing when required.
Assist with ad-hoc financial reporting and process-improvement tasks.

Required qualifications & skills such as:  High school Diploma or equivalent,  Numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
Good organisational and time-management skills.
Clear written and verbal communication; comfortable liaising with vendors/customers.
Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines.
Discretion handling confidential financial information.
