Core responsibilities:

Meet with clients/stakeholders to define event objectives, audience, scope, and budget.
Develop event concepts, timelines, run-of-show, and detailed project plans.
Source, negotiate, and manage vendors (venues, catering, AV, production, entertainment).
Create and manage budgets; track costs and approve expenditures.
Coordinate logistics: site visits, permits, floorplans, transportation, accommodations, and on-site staffing.
Produce event materials: agendas, signage, name badges, attendee communications.
Manage registrations and attendee/customer service (ticketing, RSVPs).
Oversee setup, run-of-show execution, and post-event breakdown.

Essential skills and Qualification

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, communications, marketing, business, or related field, Strong project/time management and organizational ability.
Excellent written and verbal communication (client-facing + vendor negotiation).
Budgeting and basic financial tracking skills.
Problem-solving and composure under pressure.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple moving parts.
Customer-service orientation and stakeholder management.
