Typical duties & responsibilities
Perform medication therapy management (MTM), drug utilization reviews, and therapeutic monitoring.
Administer vaccinations and other point-of-care services (where licensed).
Monitor for and report medication errors, adverse drug events, and drug interactions.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other providers to optimize therapy.
Maintain controlled substance records and comply with federal/state regulations.
Oversee inventory management, procurement, and drug storage (including cold chain).
Key skills & Education
PharmD (US) or equivalent pharmacy degree (BPharm/MPharm) , Clinical pharmacology and therapeutics knowledge.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Communication and patient education skills.
Critical thinking and problem solving.
Regulatory/compliance awareness.
