Maintenance Electrician

Core responsibilities:

Install new electrical systems, wiring, conduits and equipment according to code.
Test electrical components using multimeters, clamp meters, insulation testers, and oscilloscopes.
Ensure all work meets local/national electrical codes (e.g., NEC) and company safety procedures.
Coordinate with maintenance, engineering and operations teams for planned outages and repairs.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records and parts inventory.
Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform on-call duties as required.

Required skills and Education:  High school diploma or equivalent,  Competence with hand and power tools, meters, test equipment, and fabrication tools.
Understanding of three-phase power, grounding, and power distribution principles.
Knowledge of motor controls, VFDs, relays, contactors and control wiring.
Good mechanical aptitude and basic understanding of hydraulics/pneumatics (helpful).
Strong safety mindset and adherence to LOTO and PPE requirements.
