Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Food preparation support: Washing, peeling, cutting, chopping, slicing, weighing, measuring, and pre-portioning ingredients (vegetables, fruits, and other items) as directed by cooks. May assist with basic tasks like mixing, assembling salads/sandwiches/desserts, or simple cooking under supervision.
Cleaning and sanitation: Washing, drying, and storing dishes, utensils, pots, pans, cutting boards, and equipment; cleaning and sanitizing work surfaces, floors, walls, appliances (stoves, refrigerators, etc.); sweeping and mopping; emptying garbage and replacing bags.
Helpful skills:
Basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment.
Organization, time management, reliability, and teamwork/communication.
