Design & Planning – Develop concepts based on client needs, site conditions, and budget; create sketches, 3D models, and detailed drawings (often using CAD/BIM software like AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp)
Feasibility Studies – Assess site conditions, zoning laws, and building codes before design begins
Documentation – Produce construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents contractors use to build
Regulatory Compliance – Ensure designs meet building codes, safety regulations, accessibility standards, and environmental laws
Client Liaison – Meet with clients to understand requirements, present design options, and manage expectations
Collaboration – Work closely with structural/civil/MEP engineers, contractors, and interior designers
Project Oversight – Visit sites during construction to ensure work matches design intent and quality standards.
