Core responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair faults in electrical systems, motors, control panels, and machinery
Perform routine preventive maintenance (inspections, testing, lubrication, calibration)
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics
Install and maintain wiring, conduit, circuit breakers, transformers, and switchgear
Work with PLCs (programmable logic controllers) and industrial control systems in many plants
Test circuits with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools
Respond to emergency breakdowns to minimize equipment downtime.
