Core responsibilities:
Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on offshore platforms, rigs, wind farms, or vessels
Troubleshooting and fixing faults in power generation, distribution, and control systems
Testing and inspecting electrical equipment (generators, transformers, switchgear, motors, lighting, control panels)
Reading and working from technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations (e.g., ATEX/hazardous area standards on oil & gas platforms, or wind turbine electrical safety standards)
Responding to emergency callouts and unplanned equipment failures
