Security Officer

Key Responsibilities:

Patrolling — Walking or driving scheduled rounds of the property to check for hazards, unlocked doors, suspicious activity, or safety violations
Monitoring — Watching CCTV systems, alarm panels, and access control systems
Access control — Checking IDs, issuing visitor badges, and controlling entry/exit points
Incident response — Responding to alarms, disturbances, theft, or medical emergencies; de-escalating conflicts
Documentation — Writing daily activity logs and detailed incident reports
Emergency procedures — Executing evacuation plans, coordinating with police/fire/EMS when needed.
