Safety Manager

Develop & implement safety policies — create workplace safety programs, standard operating procedures, and emergency response plans
Ensure regulatory compliance — keep the organization aligned with OSHA (or local equivalent) regulations, industry standards, and environmental laws
Conduct risk assessments — identify hazards through site inspections, audits, and job hazard analyses
Investigate incidents — lead root-cause analysis of accidents, near-misses, and injuries; recommend corrective actions
Training & education — design and deliver safety training programs (PPE use, hazard communication, evacuation drills, equipment handling)
Maintain records — track incident reports, safety data sheets (SDS), inspection logs, and compliance documentation.
