Key Responsibilities and Duties
Overseeing daily operations and workflows to meet production, service, quality, and delivery targets.
Developing, implementing, and improving operational policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Managing budgets, allocating resources (people, materials, equipment), monitoring expenses, and controlling costs.
Leading process improvement initiatives (often using Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, kaizen, or similar methodologies) to boost efficiency and reduce waste.
Supervising, training, motivating, and evaluating teams or supervisors; handling hiring, performance management, and development.
Coordinating with other departments (e.g., supply chain, quality, maintenance, finance, sales, HR) and senior leadership.
