Calculate and analyze loads and stresses (dead, live, wind, seismic, snow, etc.) using mathematical formulas and software.
Design structural systems and members (foundations, columns, beams, slabs, shear walls, frames) in materials such as concrete, steel, timber, masonry, or composites.
Produce detailed drawings, specifications, calculations, and digital models (often with BIM tools like Revit Structure).
Ensure designs comply with building codes, standards, and regulations
Collaborate with architects, other engineers, contractors, and clients.
Conduct site inspections, review shop drawings/submittals, provide construction-phase support, and assess existing structures for repairs, renovations, or safety.
