Designing control architectures, algorithms (e.g., PID, state-space, advanced/modern control), and strategies based on system requirements.
Programming and configuring PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), DCS (Distributed Control Systems), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), and related software.
Modeling and simulating systems (often with MATLAB/Simulink) to predict behavior, refine designs, and perform analysis (stability, performance).
Selecting, integrating, and calibrating sensors, actuators, drives (VFDs, servos), and networks.
Commissioning, testing (including HIL—hardware-in-the-loop), troubleshooting, and optimizing existing systems.
Creating and maintaining documentation (functional specs, P&IDs, loop diagrams, logic diagrams, manuals).
