Operate machinery like excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, graders, loaders, cranes, and dump trucks on construction, mining, road, or demolition sites
Move earth, rock, and other materials — digging, grading, leveling, and hauling as directed by site plans
Perform pre-shift inspections and basic maintenance (checking fluids, tires/tracks, hydraulics) and report mechanical issues
Follow blueprints, grade stakes, or GPS/laser guidance systems to hit precise elevations and measurements
Coordinate with supervisors, surveyors, and ground crew using hand signals or radio communication.
