Install, align, and commission new pumps and related equipment (motors, seals, couplings, valves)
Perform routine preventive maintenance (lubrication, seal checks, vibration analysis, bearing inspection)
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic faults and repair or replace failed components
Disassemble and rebuild pumps (impellers, casings, mechanical seals, bearings, shafts)
Read technical drawings, schematics, and manufacturer manuals
Conduct performance testing (flow rate, pressure, efficiency checks)
Use diagnostic tools: vibration analyzers, pressure gauges, multimeters, laser alignment tools.
