Main Duties and Responsibilities
Greeting customers, seating them (in some roles), presenting menus, explaining daily specials, and answering questions about ingredients, allergens, or recommendations.
Accurately taking food and beverage orders (verbally, on paper, or via POS/tablet systems) and relaying them to the kitchen or bar, including special requests or dietary needs.
Serving food and drinks promptly and correctly (carrying trays, checking presentation, and ensuring hot food is hot/cold food is cold).
Checking on tables regularly for refills, additional needs, or issues; resolving complaints gracefully or escalating them.
