Barista

Key responsibilities:

ake customer orders, make recommendations, and process payments.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of service area, seating, and equipment (daily cleaning, sanitizing, end-of-day tasks).
Stock and rotate inventory: beans, milk, syrups, cups, lids, and condiments.
Monitor espresso machine calibration and grinder settings; report equipment issues.
Follow food safety and health regulations; complete required logs (temperature, cleaning checklists).
Handle customer complaints and special requests professionally; escalate when needed.
Assist with opening and/or closing duties as scheduled.

Preferred skills & attributes

Experience with espresso machines and beverage recipes.
Fast, accurate drink-making under pressure.
Strong customer service orientation and friendly demeanor.
Good multitasking, communication, and teamwork skills.
Knowledge of coffee origin, roast levels, and basic extraction concepts (a plus).
