Key responsibilities:
Manage subcontractors, vendors, and on-site crews; oversee contracts and change orders.
Monitor project progress and enforce schedule milestones.
Control project costs and approve/pay invoices; forecast cost-to-complete.
Ensure site safety and compliance with local codes, permits, and environmental requirements.
Perform quality control and inspections; resolve technical and constructability issues.
Communicate regularly with owners, architects, engineers, and stakeholders; prepare progress reports.
Close out projects: punch lists, warranties, final inspections, as-built docs.
Required skills & Qualification
Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field, Project management and scheduling (critical path method, CPM).
Cost estimating and budget control.
Contract administration and negotiation.
Construction methods, materials, and codes.
Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution.
Problem solving and decision-making under pressure.
