Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Performing preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical equipment, including inspections, cleaning, tightening connections, and replacing worn components.
Troubleshooting and maintaining PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), motor control centers (MCCs), sensors, and automation systems.
Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, ladder logic, and technical manuals.
Installing or modifying conduits, wiring, panels, switches, relays, and related components during upgrades or repairs.
Qualifications & Skills includes; High school diploma or equivalent, Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving; ability to use multimeters, megohmmeters, and other test equipment; knowledge of electrical codes and safe work practices; reading technical drawings; physical stamina; teamwork and communication. Familiarity with industrial automation is increasingly important.
