Packaging Technician

Key Responsibilities: 

Assemble kits and components (where required)
Apply labels, barcodes, serial/lot numbers, and documentation
Verify counts, dimensions, and packaging specifications
Inspect packaged items for damage, defects, and correct configuration
Operate and/or monitor packaging equipment (common examples):case packers, labelers, shrink-wrapping machines, sealers
conveyors, stretch film applicators, palletizers (depending on site)
Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance (cleaning, jams, calibration checks)

Required Skills: Attention to detail and ability to follow written work instructions
Basic understanding of quality systems (e.g., GMP, ISO, or internal QA rules)
Comfort with repetitive tasks and standing/walking for shifts
Mechanical aptitude for simple troubleshooting (machine jams, film/case issues)
Good communication and teamwork (especially on line/shift work)
