Role summary: Design and deliver safety training (new hire, refresher, task‑specific, PPE, emergency response).
Manage contractor safety programs and evaluate contractor performance.
Lead safety committees, toolbox talks and behavior‑based safety initiatives.
Maintain safety metrics and produce timely reports for site leadership and corporate EHS.
Coordinate emergency response, drills and evacuation planning.
Manage safety budget, PPE procurement and safety equipment programs.
Coach and mentor frontline supervisors on safe-work practices and compliance.
Required qualifications & skills
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or related field, Strong leadership, communication and training skills.
Analytical skills for incident trend analysis and risk assessment.
Ability to influence managers and front-line teams.
Proficiency with EHS management software, Excel; experience with Power BI or similar is a plus.
Organized, detail-oriented, able to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
