Core Responsibilities:
Policy Development & Implementation: Create, review, and update occupational health and safety (OHS) policies and procedures to align with local, state, and federal regulations.
Risk Assessment & Audits: Conduct regular workplace inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective or preventative measures.
Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents, injuries, and near-misses to determine root causes, document findings, and develop strategies to prevent recurrence.
Compliance & Reporting: Ensure the organization adheres to all safety laws and maintain accurate records of incidents, workers’ compensation claims, and OSHA logs.
Skills: Strong knowledge of safety regulations, risk management, communication, training delivery, and analytical abilities for incident data review.
