Key Responsibilities
Set up and start machines according to work orders/production schedules.
Load materials (raw material, components, packaging) and ensure correct setup.
Monitor machine operation for proper functioning, speed, and output.
Perform basic adjustments (speed/feed adjustments, alignment, tool changes as allowed by training).
Check quality of output using gauges, checklists, visual inspection, or measuring tools.
Record production data (counts, downtime, defects, scrap, maintenance notes).
Follow safety procedures (PPE use, lockout/tagout if trained, guarding rules).
