Key Responsibilities:
Patrolling — walking or driving scheduled rounds of a facility to check for hazards, unlocked doors, or suspicious activity
Monitoring — watching CCTV feeds, alarm systems, and access control points
Access control — checking IDs, signing in visitors, enforcing entry/exit protocols
Incident response — intervening in disturbances, theft, or emergencies, and calling police/fire/EMS when needed
Documentation — writing incident reports, maintaining logs of activity
Customer service — giving directions, answering questions, de-escalating conflicts calmly
Emergency procedures — assisting with evacuations, fire alarms, medical emergencies.
