Core responsibilities:
Medication support: assist with prompting/taking medications only where allowed and trained (not administering unless trained/authorized).
Documentation: complete care charts, fluid balance, observation charts, incident reports accurately and promptly.
Infection control: follow standard precautions, PPE use, hand hygiene, cleaning protocols.
Emotional support and communication: provide companionship, explain procedures at an appropriate level, escalate changes in condition.
Environment and safety: tidy patient areas, support ward routines, participate in safe patient-handling and emergency procedures.
Required qualifications & skills includes: high-school diploma or equivalent, Strong communication and listening.
Observation and reporting (accurate record-keeping).
Safe manual handling.
Ability to work under pressure and follow direction.
Team player, punctual, reliable, respectful of patient dignity and confidentiality.
