Janitor

Core Duties

Cleaning and sanitizing: Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens/break rooms, offices, and high-touch surfaces (door handles, faucets, light switches).
Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming: Maintain floors and carpets in common areas and workspaces.
Trash and recycling: Empty bins, replace liners, sort recyclables (where required), and remove waste to designated areas.
Restocking supplies: Refill paper towels, toilet paper, soap, hand sanitizer, and liners—report low inventory to a supervisor.
Restroom maintenance: Clean toilets/urinals/sinks, scrub grime, check for leaks or damage, and ensure proper ventilation/odour control.
Spot cleaning and stain removal: Address spills, marks, and scuffs promptly and report items that can’t be removed.

Work preferences/skills 

Experience in cleaning 
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
Ability to use cleaning equipment (mops, vacuums, floor machines/buffers if required)
Time-management to complete assigned areas on schedule
