Key responsibilities:
Conduct scheduled and emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
Read and interpret mechanical/electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs, parts usage records, and service reports in CMMS or spreadsheets.
Install, test, calibrate, and adjust equipment and components.
Operate hand and powered tools safely; order and manage spare parts inventory.
Support facility safety programs (lockout/tagout, confined space, PPE, fire safety) and ensure compliance with codes and regulations.
Assist with equipment upgrades, retrofits, and installation projects.
Required skills & Qualification
High school diploma or equivalent, Mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting for mechanical and electrical systems.
Basic electrical knowledge: wiring, circuit breakers, motors, relays, PLCs (if applicable).
Ability to read schematics, ladder logic, and technical manuals.
Proficiency with common hand and power tools; familiarity with diagnostic tools (multimeter, vibration meter, infrared camera).
Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Strong commitment to safety and following procedures.
