Core responsibilities:
Install, terminate and connect electrical cables, switchboards, transformers, motors, motor control centers (MCCs), distribution panels and lighting systems.
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on power distribution, control circuits, starter panels, variable frequency drives (VFDs) and protective relays.
Diagnose and repair faults using test equipment (multimeter, insulation tester, clamp meter, loop/calibrator, oscilloscope where needed).
Carry out routine inspections and testing: insulation resistance tests, earth continuity, polarity checks, functionality tests, and testing after maintenance.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs, permit records and as-built electrical drawings; update CMMS/work orders.
