Painter

Key responsibilities:

Apply paints, stains, varnishes, sealants, and other coatings by brush, roller, or spray.
Mix and match paints to achieve correct colors and finishes; thin and prepare paints per manufacturer specs.
Protect non‑painted surfaces (masking, drop cloths, masking tape), and clean up after job completion.
Use ladders, scaffolding, lifts and basic carpentry tools safely and correctly.
Inspect finished work for uniform coverage, drips, runs, and surface defects; perform touch‑ups.
Follow safety rules (PPE, ventilation, hazardous‑materials handling, confined spaces).
Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and specifications; estimate materials and time for jobs.
Maintain tools and equipment; track inventory of paints and supplies.
Communicate with supervisors, clients, or contractors; provide professional customer service.
