Key Responsibilities:
Receiving: Unload trucks or containers, verify quantities against purchase orders, inspect for damage or defects, and scan items into the warehouse management system (WMS).
Put-away and storage: Move inventory to correct bin, rack, or shelf locations using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts.
Order picking: Locate and retrieve items for customer or production orders using pick lists, RF/barcode scanners, voice systems, or pick-to-light technology.
Packing and shipping: Securely pack orders according to product requirements and carrier rules, create shipping labels, and stage or load outbound shipments.
Inventory control: Perform cycle counts, physical inventories, and restocking; report discrepancies.
