Greet customers, take drink (and sometimes food) orders, recommend items, and inform them of specials.
Mix cocktails according to recipes or customer requests; pour beer, wine, and spirits; garnish drinks.
Check IDs to verify legal drinking age.
Monitor customers’ intoxication levels and refuse service when necessary (including arranging safe transportation).
Process payments, manage tabs, and handle cash/credit transactions via POS systems.
Maintain a clean bar area: wash glasses, wipe surfaces, remove trash, and sanitize equipment.
