Laundry Attendant

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Sort soiled laundry by type, color, and care instructions.
Load and unload washing machines and dryers; select appropriate cycles, detergents, and temperatures.
Fold, press, iron, and stack clean linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing.
Inspect items for stains, damage, or wear; treat stains and report or set aside items that need repair or replacement.
Deliver clean laundry to guest rooms, floors, or departments; restock linen closets and carts.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room, machines, and storage areas.
Keep accurate records of laundry processed, inventory levels, and any issues.
