Key duties & responsibilities
Conduct client intake and health history assessments; identify contraindications and modify treatments accordingly.
Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on client goals (pain relief, relaxation, sports recovery, prenatal comfort).
Perform massage using appropriate modalities (Swedish, deep tissue, sports, trigger point, myofascial release, prenatal, cupping, etc.).
Monitor client responses during sessions and adjust pressure/techniques as needed.
Maintain accurate treatment notes and care plans in accordance with clinic/spa policy and legal requirements.
Educate clients on aftercare, stretches, posture, hot/cold therapy and lifestyle modifications.
Maintain a clean, sanitary workspace and follow infection-control procedures.
