Core responsibilities:
Perform structural analysis and design for steel, concrete, timber, masonry, and composite systems.
Produce clear structural calculations, design reports, and construction drawings/detailed shop drawings.
Ensure designs comply with relevant building codes, standards, and local regulations (e.g., ACI, AISC, ASCE, Eurocodes).
Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and clients to integrate structural solutions and ensure constructability.
Review contractor submittals and shop drawings; respond to RFIs during construction.
Perform site visits and inspections; verify as-built conditions and construction quality.
Prepare cost estimates and input to project schedules; support project management tasks.
Provide forensic analysis/retrofit design for existing structures when required.
