Clean and sanitize guest cabins and bathrooms (often twice daily), including making/stripping beds, vacuuming, dusting, emptying trash, and following detailed cleaning checklists and hygiene standards.
Maintain corridors, service lockers, ice stations, and adjacent public areas.
Replenish linens, towels, toiletries, amenities, mini-bar items, ice, stationery, and other supplies; restock as needed and process related charges.
Handle guest laundry/dry cleaning (collect, deliver, and bill).
Provide personal assistance: greet and orient guests on embarkation day (explain cabin features such as TV, safe, minibar, room service, laundry), escort them, help with luggage, and respond to requests or queries.
Deliver newspapers, daily programs, mail, notices, or room-service items; return used trays/dishes.
