Barista

Core Responsibilities:

Beverage Preparation: This is the core function. Baristas expertly prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold drinks, including espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and teas, following specific recipes and presentation standards.
Customer Service: They are the face of the establishment, greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, answering questions about the menu, and making recommendations, operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to process payments, handle cash accurately, and may be responsible for opening or closing the store.

Key Skills & Qualifications

Must pay close attention to customer orders, especially when modifications are requested, and be able to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, ability to work well with a team is crucial, as is the physical stamina to be on your feet for extended periods and knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines is important, as are basic math skills for handling cash and transactions.
