Key Responsibilities:
Operate a crane safely using proper controls and procedures.
Perform pre-operation checks (e.g., hoist, hooks, cables, brakes, boom condition, outriggers, wind indicators).
Set up and deploy the crane per job requirements (levelling, outriggers, boom configurations).
Lift and move loads according to engineering plans, rigging guidelines, and load charts.
Coordinate with riggers, signal persons, and site supervisors to manage lifting operations.
Read and interpret work orders, lift plans, diagrams, and load charts.
Monitor working conditions (wind, ground stability, clearance distances, overhead lines).
Maintain crane documentation (daily logs, inspection records, maintenance reports).
