Core Responsibilities:
Sort laundry by type (colors/white), fabric, soil level, and usage (e.g., towels vs. bedding).
Load/unload washers and dryers safely; use correct cycles and water/temperature settings.
Add detergents and chemicals (as required) and follow dilution/usage instructions.
Operate and maintain laundry equipment (washers, dryers, folders, irons/pressers if applicable).
Remove stains using approved methods and record/escalate issues when needed.
Dry and fold items to standard quality; ensure correct stacking and labeling.
Pack and deliver clean items to departments/rooms/clients; ensure items go to the right location.
Handle soiled/contaminated linens safely, following hygiene and infection-control procedures.
Collect and transport laundry using carts/bins; keep pathways clean and organized.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Prior laundry/housekeeping experience
Ability to stand for long periods and lift/handle laundry loads.
Attention to detail for sorting and quality checks.
Basic understanding of laundry chemicals and machine operation.
Good time-management to meet daily turnaround needs.
Ability to follow SOPs and hygiene standards.
Strong teamwork and communication.
