Job Summary:
Maintains, troubleshoots, repairs, and improves electrical systems and equipment in factories, plants, warehouses, buildings, or utility-related facilities to ensure safe and continuous operation.
Perform preventive maintenance schedules for electrical equipment.
Install new electrical equipment or upgrade existing systems (lighting, power distribution, control systems).
Test and verify systems (continuity, insulation resistance, grounding/bonding, functional testing).
Work with control systems (basic PLC troubleshooting may be required in some roles).
Read blueprints and electrical schematics; follow wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
Ensure safety compliance (lockout/tagout, PPE, safe work practices).
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical education/certification in electrical or industrial electrical trade.
Electrical safety knowledge (LOTO, safe isolation, grounding).
Experience with electrical troubleshooting (multimeter, clamp meter, insulation tester/megger—where applicable).
Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings.
Strong knowledge of: Electrical distribution (panels, breakers, wiring).
