Key Responsibilities:
Package products according to work instructions (boxes, crates, trays, protective materials, etc.)
Operate packaging equipment such as stretch wrappers, shrink wrappers, tape/seal machines, palletizers, label applicators, and conveyors (varies by facility)
Assemble and configure packaging materials (inserts, dividers, cushioning, foam, protective film)
Label and document items correctly (barcodes, shipping labels, lot numbers, expiration dates if applicable)
Inspect packaged goods for damage, correct packaging level, and accuracy
Palletize and stage shipments according to warehouse/shipping requirements
Maintain a clean, safe workstation and follow PPE and safety policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent, Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort learning equipment
Attention to detail (labels, barcodes, correct part/quantity)
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Ability to lift (commonly 25–50 lbs / 11–23 kg, depending on role)
Comfort with repetitive work in a warehouse or production setting.
