Pick, pack, and label items for shipment according to order specifications
Verify order accuracy by checking items against purchase orders or packing lists
Weigh and measure packages to determine shipping costs and select appropriate carriers
Coordinate with carriers (UPS, FedEx, freight lines, etc.) to schedule pickups
Track outbound shipments and update inventory/order management systems
Inspect goods for damage or defects before shipment
Maintain organized shipping records and files
Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks) as needed
Communicate with customers, sales teams, or other departments about shipment status.
