Site Supervisor

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Supervising personnel — Managing and directing construction workers, tradespeople, and subcontractors; assigning tasks; monitoring performance; and providing instruction or training.
Safety and compliance — Conducting regular site inspections to identify and eliminate hazards; enforcing health and safety regulations (e.g., PPE use); leading toolbox talks or inductions; handling incidents according to protocols; and ensuring compliance with building codes.
Quality control — Checking that work matches blueprints, drawings, specifications, and standards; verifying materials and workmanship.
Planning and coordination — Organizing daily/weekly work schedules; coordinating trades and access; managing materials, equipment deliveries, and site logistics to minimize downtime.

Qualifications and skills includes: High school Diploma or equivalent,  Strong leadership and people-management abilities
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and organizational skills
Problem-solving and analytical thinking
Knowledge of construction methods, materials, tools, and safety practices
Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changes, and handle multiple priorities.
