Security Officer

Core Responsibilities:

Patrolling and monitoring — walking or driving assigned areas, checking doors, windows, gates, and other entry points to ensure they’re secure
Surveillance — monitoring CCTV cameras and alarm systems, watching for suspicious activity
Access control — checking IDs, verifying visitor credentials, controlling who enters/exits a facility
Incident response — responding to alarms, disturbances, theft, fire, medical emergencies, or other incidents
Report writing — documenting daily activities, incidents, and unusual occurrences in logs or incident reports
Enforcing rules — ensuring compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and site-specific rules.
