Core responsibilities:
Reading blueprints and building plans to understand layout and specifications
Measuring, marking, and laying out reference points and lines for accurate construction
Mixing mortar, concrete, or grout to the correct consistency
Laying bricks, blocks, or stones in level, plumb courses using string lines and levels
Cutting and shaping materials to fit around corners, openings, or custom designs
Applying mortar joints and finishing them for both strength and appearance (tooling/pointing)
Installing reinforcement (rebar, wire mesh) for structural stability.
