Supervise electricians and electrical technicians during installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance.
Inspect electrical work for quality, workmanship, and compliance with NEC/OSHA (US), electrical codes, and project specifications.
Coordinate daily job activities, work schedules, material/equipment requirements, and manpower planning.
Ensure safe work practices: conduct/participate in safety briefings, enforce LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), and ensure proper PPE use.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Oversee testing and commissioning activities (e.g., continuity, insulation resistance, functional testing, load testing—where applicable).
Troubleshoot electrical faults and coordinate repair solutions (panels, motors, drives/VFDs, lighting, power distribution, generators, etc.)
