Core Responsibilities:
Installation — Setting up new pumps (centrifugal, submersible, positive displacement, reciprocating, etc.), aligning shafts/couplings, and connecting piping, electrical, and control systems
Preventive maintenance — Scheduled inspections, lubrication, seal and bearing checks, vibration analysis, and part replacement to avoid breakdowns
Troubleshooting/diagnostics — Identifying causes of leaks, reduced flow/pressure, unusual noise or vibration, overheating, or electrical faults
Repair and overhaul — Disassembling pumps, replacing worn parts (impellers, seals, bearings, gaskets), reassembling and testing.
