Security Officer

Patrolling and surveillance — Conducting regular foot or vehicle patrols of interiors, exteriors, perimeters, doors, windows, and restricted areas to detect unauthorized access, damage, or suspicious activity.
CCTV and systems monitoring — Watching camera feeds, alarms, and access-control systems; flagging and responding to unusual activity.
Access control — Checking IDs/credentials, issuing visitor badges, escorting contractors, managing deliveries, and preventing unauthorized entry.
Incident and emergency response — Handling alarms, disturbances, medical emergencies (often with basic first aid), fires, evacuations, trespassing, or conflicts; de-escalating situations and contacting law enforcement or emergency services when needed.
