Main Duties and Responsibilities

Scrape, rinse, sort, and load dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans into commercial dishwashers (or wash them by hand when needed, especially fragile items or large cookware).
Unload machines, dry/polish items if required, and store clean dishes and utensils in the proper places.
Maintain the dishwashing area and broader kitchen in a clean, orderly condition: empty trash/recycling, clean spills, mop floors, wipe surfaces, and clean small appliances or equipment.
Follow sanitation and health-code guidelines; monitor machine temperatures, chemical levels (detergents/sanitizers), and report issues.
