Main responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and regularly update the company’s occupational health and safety policies, procedures, manuals, and safety-management programme.
Carry out hazard identification and risk assessments for tasks, work areas, machinery, chemicals, lifting activities, work at height, electrical work, driving, and emergency operations.
Conduct regular workplace inspections, audits, and compliance checks to identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and gaps in controls.
Ensure the business complies with applicable health and safety laws, industry standards, client requirements, and internal rules.
Deliver induction training for new employees and contractors, plus refresher training, toolbox talks, emergency drills, and specialised safety training.
